Dimension of Flight Modules

Phase I and II Cadets  The aerospace education classes are held on the third Thursday each month. The subject thought are from one of the 6 Dimension of Flight Modules.  Lectures from each chapter per class, followed by an educational activity associated/related with the subject taught. The Modules are "stand alone" so a cadet can join the Squadron even if the senior cadets are working on later modules. A cadet may test from any module to satisfy the aerospace achievement for each grade. The tests are 25 question, closed book, multiple choice, un-timed, 70% passing grade (must then be corrected to 100%) Tests are administered on the last Thursday each month. A cadet can only test every other month unless the cadet is in Jr-ROTC in which case testing can be done monthly.

The Beginners Guide to Aeronautics (BGA) was created as a Web-based "textbook." The creation of the BGA is a research project to explore the use of the personal computer and the Internet to present educational materials to students, teachers, and lifelong learners in a more interactive way than a printed, bound textbook.
