I will list a few different types of Comm Service events I have been involved in.

-Painting and re-roofing a member of my Chaplains Church
-Cleaning out some old classrooms behind a local senior citizen center
-Helping build things around a Church

Things to directly help the Community are what they are looking for. You need to have some kind of document from the person in charge stating what you accomplished and how many hours were put in to it. I hope this helps.
