As you all are aware, the Tennessee Wing conference will be held in Chattanooga on 5-6 November. During the conference we will have updates on the latest and greatest developments from National Headquarters concerning the cadet programs. The scheduled time for cadet programs is 1430-1530 on 6 November, and I am encouraging all cadets to participate in this informative discussion.
This year we are instituting a new process for selecting our participants for the International Cadet Exchange Program. During the Wing Conference we will conduct a review board to interview all cadets and senior members applying for IACE. All applicants for the program will be required to meet this board in order to be considered for selection.
Also during the conference we have scheduled a Cadet Advisory Council meeting for 1300-1415. I strongly encourage the CAC representatives and assistants from all squadrons to attend this meeting. Important issues that will be discussed include the drill team member selection process, upcoming leadership schools, and encampments.
Again, I am strongly encouraging all cadets to participate in the Wing conference this year. Hope to see you all at the “Chattanooga Choo-Choo”.
